Backstory and Script

We created a back story so we knew what objects to create in our environment and give them a purpose. The story also allowed us to be quite elaborate with our design.

Quick summery: A trapped soul in a gargoyle roams an abandoned house in search of its former body.

Back story: Four non conventional artists (ourselves) were exiled from a Stepford Wives/ Edward Scissorhands style society for being too controversial. They built a house, overlooking the town, where they were free to behave how they wished. Three of the housemates lived happily until they reached an old age where they were ready to die, and completed the suicide pact they had always planned. The fourth member of the group, believed she was a princess and locked herself away in a tower, waiting for her prince charming to come and rescue her. He didn't. Our poor princess wasted away with a broken heart. Many years later, just like in the ancient prophecy, (you know the one!) when the moon and the sun, in the sky together hung, a gargoyle woke up with the princess' spirit inside of it, and so the tale begun.............

Script, Key events:
